NitoTV, a popular application for the original Apple TV, is the first app running on the new Apple TV.
NitoTV is a front end for the popular mplayer media player; however, it also includes additional capabilities to view RSS feeds, weather forecasts, and more.
The screenshots below were posted to NitoTV's twitter account. They show a new NitoTV menu item and working weather forecasts.
