Scanner Pro 3.0 Adds Batch Document Scanning

Readdle has announced the release and immediate availability of Scanner Pro 3.0, a major update to their popular iPhone application that transforms the device into a portable scanner. Using Scanner Pro 3.0, iPhone owners scan multi-page documents lightning fast thanks to a new, specially designed interface. The new black and white mode, with reduced file sizes, enables users to e-mail documents with twice as many pages as before.

Scanning multi-page documents with Scanner Pro 3.0 is even easier than before. Just take a photo of the document, adjust the crop area for each page, and tap the process button. All processing is done in a batch without any effort. To overcome file size limits for email attachments, Scanner Pro 3.0 can save documents in black and white mode. This makes scans up to twice as small when compared to grayscale mode, all with preserving readability and document resolution.

"Scanning documents with the iPhone is something many people have never thought about. They'd love to have pocket scanner but they don't realize they already have one," notes Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. "Scanner Pro 3.0 expands what the iPhone is capable of by allowing you to take a single or multiple shots and get great results."

Scanner Pro 3.0 is localized in all major languages supported in the App Store. Anyone who speaks English, German, Japanese, French, Italian or Spanish can use the application in their native language - enabling even more people to use their iPhones to scan documents on the go.

Supported Languages:
* US English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Turkish

Pricing and Availability:
Scanner Pro 3.0 is $6.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Business category. It's a free upgrade for existing users
