Apple Forces HyperMac to Rebrand as HyperJuice

Apple has forced HyperMac, a company that offers external batteries for Apple products, to change its name.

"In the coming weeks, the 'HyperMac' brand name will be renamed to 'HyperJuice' as part of our ongoing comprehensive licensing negotiations with Apple regarding a wide array of technologies and issues," Daniel Chin, president of Sanho Corporation, said in a press release.

Last month the company also announced that it would discontinue sale of its MacBook charging cables and car charger due to a patent-infringement lawsuit Apple filed over Sanho's unlicensed use of Apple's MagSafe power connector.

Today is the last day to purchase those items from HyperMac so if you were thinking about making a purchase you should do it soon!
