39 a Miami-based development company, has announced SyncPad 1.0, the first-ever iPad application that allows users to share their drawings on a whiteboard in real-time, from anywhere in the world over the internet.
While many whiteboard apps tried to explore the collaboration between multiple iPads, none of them worked remotely, and each required the users to be a few feet from each other. SyncPad, on the other hand, brings your whiteboard to the cloud, making it easy to share with clients and coworkers. Would you like to share your ideas with a coworker but you are out of town? Don't worry, just create a room with your SyncPad and share the name of the room with your co-worker, who can access it with his SyncPad or with any modern browser by visiting SyncPad online.
"The idea came from a personal need to be able to quickly share ideas and feedback on current projects with our clients," said Davide Di Cillo, founder of 39, Inc. "With SyncPad, now I can quickly import a mockup from my photo library and add my notes while the client is sitting at his desk in another continent. He can also participate as well adding his own notes in real-time."
Features:
* Multiple colors
* Eraser
* Ability to import pictures from your library
* Live sharing connection with another SyncPad, SyncPad Reader or any browser
* Multi-user rooms
* Share via e-mail
Pricing and Availability:
SyncPad 1.0 is $9.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Business category. Di Cillo promised that more features and improvements will be coming soon, with an update already waiting to be approved by Apple.
